SOLE Program Options Guide

The SOLE program strives to offer field trips and programs that work for you and your students. We offer a variety of locations, topics, and experiences that encourage students to get outdoors and that connect back to classroom learning.

SOLE provides funding for 4th grade students to go on three field trips. Please select one state park or fish hatchery, one partner location, and one History Colorado affiliate

We bring the learning to your classroom! Select from in-class programming with either Colorado Parks and Wildlife or one of our partners.

SOLE families are invited! Family Nature Nights are 2-hour, festival style events designed to connect families to local outdoor opportunities.

How to Schedule

​1. Submit SOLE Program Planner Google form so that we are aware of your plan for the year.


2. Once approved, contact partner sites directly to schedule programming. REMEMBER YOU MUST IDENTIFY YOURSELF AS A SOLE SCHOOL WHEN SCHEDULING !


3. After scheduling, please notify us so that we are aware that your program has been scheduled and when these programs will be occurring for our records.

Transportation Arrangements

District School Bus

Please use the school bus reservation system in process at your school. Once buses are reserved, please notify your school financial administrator that your bus reservation is for an approved SOLE field trip and eligible for transportation reimbursement by contacting the School Programs Coordinator.


Charter Bus

Charter buses may be available on a case-by-case basis for schools that cannot use district transportation by contacting Please notate if you plan to need a charter bus for any field trips on the Program Planner form.
