Tours for school groups should be arranged as far in advance as possible to help ensure that a sufficient supply of educational materials are on hand and that your group has a coordinated, enjoyable experience. As the hatchery is located several miles up the Poudre Canyon, winter months are not advised. Spring is typically the best time to visit and see the most fish as this is when spawning operations occur.
To inquire about setting up a tour please call the hatchery at (970) 881-2187 or email hatchery manager, James Ingram at firstname.lastname@example.org
