Customized Field Experience
Poudre Learning Center offers a wide array of curricular options that follow the Colorado Academic Standards. If you wish to engage your students with learning opportunities in a beautiful outdoor setting that includes river corridor wilds, expansive native grassland prairie, lakes, and majestic rocky mountain views, we are here to support you! We offer planning assistance for field experiences here at our 65 acre learning outdoor laboratory and at your school classroom. Our full lineup of equipment includes Vernier labquest, spotting scopes, microscopes, water testing kits and much more. We would love to work with you to design investigations to meet standards and inspire curiosity.
Service Projects
The Poudre Learning Center is eager to work with area students to complete their projects. Whether it is a senior project, Eagle Scout project or anything in-between. Look below for ideas that can be completed at the PLC. Your ideas are welcome and, if you don’t see it on the list below, that’s okay, you will be able to work with a PLC staff member to decide if your idea is a good fit for the Poudre Learning Center. To get started fill out and submit the Poudre Learning Center Project Application, then call the center for an project interview.
