Arrowhead Family Nature Night
On Thursday, January 24th, Arrowhead Elementary opened their doors for an evening of outdoor family fun! The early morning snowstorm didn't stop these families from coming out and having a great time! About 43 kids and 25 adults (68 total) attended the event.
Students were able to enjoy fishing in the gym as well as archery, which was provided by our wonderful partner A&H Adventures.
Barr Lake State Park brought their boating safety t-shirts that can be decorated and taken home. Thanks Barr Lake!
History Colorado, the Morrison Nature Center, Bird Conservancy and the Denver Botanic Gardens also attended, and provided some amazing activities including bird identification and seed planting! Thanks to all of our partners who were able to attend!
At 6pm, families gathered into the library for the raffle. Congratulations to all of our prize winners!
Thanks to the staff at Arrowhead for having us host this event! And a special thanks to all that attended! We can't wait to come back next year for another amazing Family Nature Night!
