On a lovely September night Murphy Creek students kicked off SOLE’s first Family Nature Night of the school year. It was a perfect night for some outdoor fishing with Backyard Bass on the front lawn. From start to finish it was the most popular activity of the night! Ashlyn, Gio, and Bryant were among those that stayed to the very end hoping for just one more cast!

Longfellow Elementary students started this year off on the right foot by going on their first SOLE field trip in the first month of school! Getting a jump on the year meant taking all four classes on a three hour bus ride to downtown  Denver’s History Colorado. By the time they arrived, everyone was eager to sit out in the beautiful sunshine and enjoy some lunch together....

Bison!

The Students of Pennock Elementary giggled at the jokes the Arsenal Staff was telling during the bus tour of the Rocky Mountain Arsenal National Wildlife Refuge. The Arsenal is a special place where visitors can view wildlife in their natural habitat.
