
La Veta Family Nature Night
We had a blast at La Veta's Family Nature Night this past Tuesday! About 95 people attended the event. Thanks to all the families who came out for an awesome evening! North Park School Family Nature Night
It was a beautiful late-winter evening at North Park School's Family Nature Night last week. The sun was shining and the students and their families showed up in full force! Maybell Elementary Family Nature Night
Last week, the SOLE team traveled all the way to Maybell Elementary for a very special Family Nature Night. We had 16 students and 12 adults present, for a total of 28 folks! The dreary April weather outside was no bother to these students, who had a great time bouncing around from station to station. Family Nature Night at Sierra Grande K-12
After weeks of testing, these students were able to blow off some steam with the SOLE team and our amazing partners. What an AWESOME evening we had in Fairplay! About 175 people wandered the halls for Edith Teter's first Family Nature Night ever! The snow did not deter these eager families from all the excitement! Thunder Valley's Fishing Extravaganza!
Yesterday, the SOLE team was joined by Thunder Valley K-8's fourth-grade team at St. Vrain State Park for a day of fishing fun! The students learned the basics of fishing and got to try their hand at catching some of the park's plentiful rainbow trout. The morning started with casting practice and an interactive discussion on what it means to be an "ethical angler." After lunch, the students got to apply their new knowledge.
