
Family Nature Night at Ridgway Elementary
It is always a treat for the SOLE Team to visit Ridgway Elementary and spend the evening with its students. Acres Green Enjoys a Night of Outdoor Family Fun
The students enrolled in Acres Green's after school program were eagerly curious as the SOLE Team began setting up for their Family Nature Night. Puzzled by the equipment (and allured by the pizza) they asked if they could try out some of the activities before the event (officially) started. Exploring the Outdoors with Murphy Creek
Students of Murphy Creek slowly trickled through its doors for Family Nature Night on September 17. The YMCA and other programs were ending just as our Nature Night began, so any kids leaving those programs were encouraged to stay for our activities and FREE pizza! An estimate of around 55 kids and 35 adults (90 total) attended. This was an awesome event for all that attended. Record Number of Attendees at Vista Peak's Family Nature Night
What a night! On September 11th, Vista Peak Exploratory was jam-packed with students from the moment we opened the doors at 5pm. We estimated about 149 students and 83 adults (232 total) attended. So many families attended, we were completely out of pizza by 5:30! Note to SOLE: bring more pizza! Families were able to enjoy activities provided by our partners. Kicking off the SOLE School Year at Chappelow
Our first Family Nature Night of the 2018-19 school year was held at the Chappelow Arts Magnet School in Evans. This is Chappelow's second year as a SOLE school, and around 150 students and parents attended. Students were greeted by Katie Denny, a teacher who communicated with SOLE staff throughout the year and helped plan the entire event.
