Vista Peak Exploratory Family Nature Night

On Wednesday evening we held our annual family nature night for the 4th grade class at Vista Peak Exploratory. There was an attendance of 60 adults and 95 kids (155 total). Everyone loved the pizza, prizes and fun interactive activities provided by our partners and staff. We were joined by our wonderful partners, A&H Adventures, Aurora PROS Department, Rocky Mountain Arsenal National Wildlife Refuge, Bluff Lake, Butterfly Pavilion, Bird Conservancy of the Rockies and Barr Lake State Park. In addition, there was backyard bass, a huge hit, a generation wild table, trivia wheel and archery! Centennial Elementary Family Nature Night

Mid-way through the month we had our Centennial Elementary Family Nature Night! 130 individuals showed up to check out our fun activities, eat some pizza and learn about the environment from our partners and volunteers! Along with our Trivia Wheel, Generation Wild and Backyard Bass stations, our partners from A&H Adventures, Broomfield Open Space & Trails, Rocky Mountain Arsenal National Wildlife Refuge, Wild Within Reach, History Colorado, Butterfly Pavilion, Bird Conservancy of the Rockies were great at presenting engaging material to our kids and families! Murphy Creek Family Nature Night

Murphy Creek had a great turnout to their Family Nature Night this year! We had about 150 total excited visitors show up, ready to learn about the great Colorado outdoors from our amazing partners and volunteers. Along with our helpful volunteers and staff, we were joined by some stellar partners. Thanks to A&H Adventures, Rocky Mountain Arsenal National Wildlife Refuge, History Colorado, Bluff Lake, Butterfly Pavilion, Bird Conservancy of the Rockies, Aurora PROS Department and Barr Lake State Park for sharing their vast knowledge with our families. Lastly, thanks to our staff at Murphy Creek! Without such a great community of teachers and staff, this event would not have been possible.

Rogers Family Nature Night

Things started with a bang at Rogers Elementary with our first Family Nature Night of the 2019-2020 school-year! About 60 folks came out to make it a wonderful evening of learning and fun! We were joined by partners from the Pueblo Zoo, Catamount Institute, and Colorado Springs Trails, Parks and Open Space. These partners brought hands-on, engaging activities that expanded our students knowledge of various environmental topics. Thanks for coming, everyone!
